A small side project that’s gotten a bit out of hand lately.

I’m currently designing an automated newsletter on Citizen Science. The plan is to use N8N to scrape various news feeds, have an AI (Gemini) summarize and tag the content, and store everything neatly in a Supabase database for distribution. And then ofcourse to assemble a weekly newsletter, beautifully merging AI generated content reliably based on diverse sources, with handwritten editorial content.

It’s partly a technical exercise and partly preparation for future community management tasks. The conceptual part, designing the architecture, was pure flow. It’s a great puzzle to solve. Now comes the next phase: the actual technical implementation. I have no doubt that part will be a lot more challenging. But it’s a very cool thing to be building. 🧑‍💻
