MY WORK

Connecting education, research, and practice

My work lives in the spaces between disciplines. I help educators, researchers, and professionals create bridges—between classrooms and labs, between ideas and implementation, between learning and real-world impact. Rather than staying within one field, I move across them: education, design, art, science, entrepreneurship. Each offers a way to translate complex ideas into shared experience. Together, they form a practice that is at once creative, reflective, and collaborative.

What drives me is the belief that learning and innovation happen at the edges—where risk replaces routine and curiosity replaces certainty. In those intersections, new forms of meaning, belonging, and knowledge can emerge. I design and guide processes that make these encounters possible: learning communities, creative labs, research collaborations, speculative projects, and spaces for dialogue that connect people across roles and disciplines.

If you’re exploring how education, research, and practice can reinforce one another, the sections below show how I approach that work—in sound, story, design, and collective imagination.

Boundary crossing as practice, Education as disruption, and the self as a lifelong prototype.

Janko Bartelink

Education as disruption. Technology as a mirror. The self as a lifelong prototype. Learning is an act of defiance. Progress is never finished. Question everything. Break what no longer serves. Build what does. Reflect. Reinvent. Repeat. There are no final versions. Only upgrades. Only experiments. Only the courage to begin again.
